Privacy Policy
Draft version 2026-04-21
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone, address, job photos, and — for haulers — vehicle details, insurance documents, and identity verification data collected via Stripe Identity.
Payment Information
Payment details are processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. Junkeze does not store full card numbers.
How We Use Your Information
- To calculate pricing and match customers with haulers
- To verify hauler identity and insurance before approval
- To process payments and payouts
- To send transactional emails about your jobs
- To investigate disputes and no-show reports
Cookies & Analytics
Beyond the cookie that keeps you signed in, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed and general usage patterns. This only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit; declining means no analytics script loads at all. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for junkeze.com.
Information Sharing
Customers and haulers assigned to the same job can see each other's name and message each other through the platform, without either party's direct contact information being shared. We share data with Stripe (payments, identity verification) and our email provider as needed to operate the service.
Support Access to Your Account
To investigate a problem you report, a senior member of our support team may open a read-only view of your account that shows what you see. They cannot take any action as you — they cannot post or accept jobs, send messages, make payments, or change your details. Every such session is time-limited and recorded in our internal audit log against the staff member who opened it.
Data Retention
We retain job records, messages, and activity logs for as long as needed to resolve disputes and comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.
Your Rights
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account any time from your Profile Settings page. Deleting your account removes your name, email, and phone number and immediately disables your login. Job and payment records are kept, with your identity removed, for as long as required by law for financial recordkeeping. Accounts with an active job in progress must finish or cancel it first — contact support if you need help with that.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the version date above.
